The handcrafted DB7 remains at the pinnacle of the sportbike world, but the Bimota engineers, led by Andrea Acquaviva, wanted to go even further. With the team colours of red, white and black applied to the carbon fiber body shaped by the pen and hands of designer Bjmota Borghesan, the Bimota family dna is clear to see. In manufacturing its tubular structures, BRBike superimposes a number of carbon-fiber “socks,” duly impregnated with high-tech epoxy resins. Further the instrument features built-in onboard GPS, that recognizes which track you are circulating, automatically records lap times via GPS, and later allows you to visualize and analyse track sessions on your PC.

Today’s accepted frame design involving a pair of large-section spars would have been much easier to manufacture and, possibly, also lighter and stiffer. Hand-built and available in limited numbers, the DB7 is the most sought after Bimota motorcycle ever.
The Italian flag is detailed on the carbon-black of the chassis, a reminder of the bimoat applied from the hands of the Italian builders.
